Getting Started

Everything here is free. You'll need a computer (Windows, Mac or Linux) and about 30 minutes, most of it waiting for the deck to download.

The setup has three parts — work through them in order using the Next button at the bottom of each page:

1. Install Anki — the free flashcard program that powers the deck
2. Get the Deck — install the Malleus add-on and let it set up the deck for you
3. Studying with the Deck — suspend everything once, then unsuspend what you're studying

Getting Malleus through AnkiHub at the moment? Switching from AnkiHub moves your deck to AnkiCollab and keeps all your progress.

If syncing ever misbehaves, Fixing Sync Issues solves the vast majority of problems.

Once you're set up, anyone can contribute cards — and the Malleus add-on makes both studying and contributing much easier.
