Getting Started

Everything here is free. You'll need a computer (Windows, Mac or Linux) and about 15 minutes.

The setup has three parts — work through them in order using the Next button at the bottom of each page:

1. Install Anki — the free flashcard program that powers the deck
2. Get the Deck — subscribe to Malleus and protect your personal notes
3. Studying with the Deck — suspend everything once, then unsuspend what you're studying

If syncing ever misbehaves, Fixing Sync Issues solves the vast majority of problems.

Once you're set up, anyone can contribute cards — and the Malleus add-on makes both studying and contributing much easier.
